I bought some gorgeous yarn from my friend Bethany, who hand dyes and spins the wool from mostly local sheep! She started her etsy shop mostly to support her own fiber habit, but I think she's really onto something here :-)
I haven't decided exactly what to do with my skein yet. I started experimenting with it, and really liked this crocheted alternating shell and v-stitch pattern, but there won't be enough yarn to make a scarf using this technique. So I've taken it back apart, but I wanted to share the lovely pattern with you as well as show you Bethany's great products.
