Thistle

I get to take care of my daughter's hedgehog while she's at a conference for a few days.  Isn't Thistle cute?

It's kind of tempting to dip her in paint and roll her around on a piece of paper, but I'm not sure that Dani would forgive me.  ;-)

Wow! How fun is that! Where on earth did your daughter ever find a hedgehog? Thistle is sooo adorable and I only wish I was there to touch the little prickles. I'm sure he is having a great time with his grandma too. Thanks for sharing. :)

You have to get them from breeders since they're considered "exotic". There are a few places in the States that it's not legal to own them, but I must say I don't see why. Mostly what she does is sleep and run on her wheel :-)

so adorable!!! :) i think my cats would go nuts over a hedgehog, though. hmmm....

They only go nuts once ;-) We have two cats, and the recommendation is to let them meet each other. The hedgehog immediately balls up, and the cat will not like the prickly surface. It won't hurt the cats, but they'll figure out really quickly that the hedgehog isn't fun to play with.

I had both the hedgehog and one of the cats on my lap last night!

Awwwww... What a cutie!
You are so baaad, Cyndi!

Only you would think of rolling the poor little guy in paint.

Thistle is adorable, but I'm surprised you can actually pet one.
