Giveaway: Found Objects and Unusual Materials

On Beading Arts, I've been sharing about how I launched the fourth (and probably final) chapter of my brand new e-book. The series is called "Every Bead Has a Story - mixed media bead embroidery", and chapter four is subtitled "Found Objects and Unusual Materials". Chapter four is 82 pages long and covers more techniques that will enable you to tell a story better than ever before with your bead embroidery: wired elements, resin, buttons, hardware, liquid clay, silicone, and wool roving.  There are three step-by-step projects included that will help you get started integrating the texture and drama of mixed media objects into your bead embroidery.  You can read more about it at the link above.

***FREE STUFF ALERT***

Not everyone who reads Mixed Media Artist is involved in beading or jewelry-making, but if you are interested in this topic, leave me a comment below and you'll automatically be entered to win a free copy of "Found Objects and Unusual Materials".  If you tweet or post on Facebook or other social spots about the contest, you can leave a second comment and be entered twice!  Please make sure that the link you leave here leads to an active email address...if I can't reach you, you can't be the winner!  Deadline: November 17, 2010

Hi
I'd love to win your e-book on 'found objects and unusual materials'. Mixed media with stuff I find - stuff other people have thrown away - is what my art is all about.
I love your blog - your tutorials are so good.
thanks
Lynne

Cyndi,
I very much would enjoy winning your e-bookchapter. I'm activly involved in combining multimedia with my stitching and fabric jewellery.

I'm a student at a college of further education in England with wonderful tutors who are up for trying whatever I can dream up.

I love your work anyway and this chapter sounds just up my street.
