Collage and quilt techniques

We've explored lots and lots of fun collage techniques over the years. I figured it was past time to compile some of the methods. This post doesn't include all the techniques like image transfers and creating background papers...those posts have been compiled elsewhere!  You can always find the most up-to-date list in the sidebar under the heading The Basics.

Thank you, Limar! That image ended up in a publication called Digital Images a few years ago :-)
I love the image you used to illustrate this list. It's just my colors.

Your site has become my go-to for mixed media techniques and inspiration.

Thank you so much for all the work and for your generosity.

Thank you so much, it's wonderful to have the tutorials but having them all listed in the one place is great.
I agree with TAMMY... when is your book coming out???

Aren't you guys sweet! I've got an e-book in process right now that combines altered art techniques with bead embroidery. I'll have to seriously think about a mixed media e-book ;-) Every Bead Has a Story
