Giveaway: Chapter 3 of Every Bead Has a Story

On Beading Arts, I've been sharing about how I just launched the third chapter of my brand new e-book. The series is called "Every Bead Has a Story - mixed media bead embroidery", and chapter three is subtitled "Dimensional Beading". Chapter three is 93 pages long and covers more stitches and techniques to take your bead embroidery from flat to fluffy: stacked stitches that turn into clusters, barnacles, and ruffles; seed beads that become small flowers and spiral elements; bezels and bails and more! There are two step-by-step embroidery projects included that will put those techniques to good use.  You can read more about it at the link above.

***FREE STUFF ALERT***

Not everyone who reads Mixed Media Artist is involved in beading or jewelry-making, but if you are interested in this topic, leave me a comment below and you'll automatically be entered to win a free copy of "Dimensional Beading".  If you tweet or post on Facebook or other social spots about the contest, you can leave a second comment and be entered twice!  Please make sure that the link you leave here leads to an active email address...if I can't reach you, you can't be the winner!  Deadline: September 3, 2010

I would love to do more with beading. I think beads add just a lot to a project.

I do bead, especially with old vintage necklaces I take apart, so fun. Would love some encouragement in this area since all I buy here is in Russian or Ukrainian. Nice to see pictures though.
Check out my Facebook fan page cuz I'm gonna post it there: vintageterrace2

Looks cool! I mostly bead and fabricate, but some of the most fun comes from figuring out what I can do with what I have available.
I personally feel beads belong on everything and make everything better. :-} Just found your site and think I will tag along. Enjoy the weekend. Connie

Fantastic beaded projects. I would love to have a copy of this book. Beading is a passion and I use them all the time in my needlework projects. Aren't they addictive? ladyjspice@aol.com
WOW! I would love to win this book. Seeing your products and having little experience w/beading leaves me wanting to learn more. This appears to be the most wonderful opportunity to do that! Thanks for the chance to win.

I make all kinds of jewelry. I recently discovered my love of bead embroidery and cannot wait to learn so much as I can.

As a knitter, I'd love to embellish some projects. Those wonderfully colored beads you show are awesome.
