I was just discussing with an artist friend yesterday about why it's so hard to call myself an "artist". I have no trouble calling her that ~ she paints big canvases. But I'm likely to tell people that I have a part-time job at the library and that I spend my other half time "doing" art. Why can't I get the words out of my mouth?
